Glasfor Cottage

This delightful stone cottage built in the 1800's is situated in the centre of the picturesque coastal village of Llwyngwril in the Snowdonia National Park. A 10 minute walk following the River Gwril brings you to a shingle beach where somtimes you see dolphins playing. Glasfor has been completely renovated whilst maintaining it's character.
There is a kitchen/diner and a comfortable lounge to the front of the cottage.
Duvet/covers, pillows/covers, blankets are included in the weekly prices and sheets,towels and tea towels can be hired at a small charge.
Radio, smoke alarms, a sellection of children dvds, reading books and games/jigsaws are provided. Stairgate, Highchair and Travel cot are available, please ask when enquiring.
There is lots nearby - Barmouth, Aberdovey, Machynlleth are all just a car ride, or just hop on the local bus or train to Porthmadog and Pwllheli. The ancient church Llangelynin takes just 5 minutes by car and Corris is the home for the Alternative Technology Centre. Llangollen which hosts the International Musical Eisteddfod is just 90 minutes by car.
Llwyngwril to Snowdon takes 1hr 40mins. There are also several little gauge railways - Talyllyn (Tywyn), Fairbourne railway,Portmadoc,Blaenau Ffestiniog,Bala railway, all within 1hrs drive away.
We are also close to the Cader Idris range of mountains. Gregynnan Lakes above the Mawddach Estuary, breath taking scenery, Steam railways just 10 minute drive. Llwyngwril has a public house, post office/tea rooms, church, chapel, craft room, grocery store and a children's playground.
