Glyn Saron is a recently refurbished 3-bedroom cottage in the village of Bryncrug set on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. It offers all the comforts of modern living while still retaining a traditional cottage feel.

The kitchen provides all the latest in mod cons a Fridge/ Freezer, microwave, electric double oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, all the necessary cooking utensils and a large pine dining table and chairs. A log burner provides the central feature in the lounge and gives some extra heat on those chilly evenings, logs are provided. There is also a flat screen TV, DVD player and small selection of DVDs, Sky and there is also a small selection of board games, sit and enjoy it all on a comfy 3 piece suite.

The Master bedroom is on the first floor and has a pine double bed, pine wardrobe and chest of draws and a flat screen TV on the wall. The second bedroom is also on the first floor and has a set of bunk beds and suitable wardrobe and storage space over the stairs. This third bedroom is a twin bedded room downstairs also with a pine wardrobe and chest of draws. The bathroom is downstairs and has a toilet, wash basin and shower bath with a great power shower. It also has a heated towel rail and under floor heating.

Outside Glyn Saron has a very private and secure courtyard garden area with a patio, barbeque area and shed. There is a large secure shed is available to store bikes, boots, fishing and boating gear, in the shed also is a 2nd freezer if needed.

All heating is by electric storage heaters, which are inclusive in the price. All the beds have man made filled fibre pillows and quilts, all bed linen is provided. Bath and hand towels are also provided for each person staying in the cottage. Tea towels and beach towel are NOT provided so please bring your own. Off road parking is available at the side of the cottage for just one car, any other vehicles will have to park in the lane.

From the cottage you can walk or bike down the lane and out on to the river where kingfishers and other wild life can be seen, then carry on if your legs can stand it and follow the river out to the sea, down the beach and back into Tywyn, where you can catch either the bus home or the famous Tal-y-lyn Railway.

If bird watching is for you then the famous ‘Bird Rock’ is just 10 mins drive away with its amazing array of bird life. For those that prefer fishing then a boat trip out to sea to catch bass and mackerel are a must from Aberdovey, or call in at ‘Betty’s’ village shop in Bryncrug and buy a permit to fish on the river.

For those mad enough to want extreme sports then take your bike to one of Wales famous mountain bike centers Coed-y-Brenin or learn to kite surf in Aberdovey. Cader Idris provides a great days hiking, but be well prepared. Or drive up to Bala about 45 mins away and do some white water rafting. Drive round the coast to Arthog and see the countryside on horse back at the Pony Trekking Center.

Tywyn itself is just a 5 min drive away and is the home of the Famous Tal-y-lyn Railway, great for a day trip, you can hop on and off to visit Dolgoch Falls or get off at Abergynolwyn and walk down to the pub for lunch. For those with a young family who just want to sit on the beach then Tywyn is great for its safe beach and its safe bathing, and its great for surfing.

Aberdovey is just 15 mins away, here to can be found a great sandy beach, and the home of an 18 hole seaside links golf course, and for those who like messing around on the sea then Aberdovey is the place to launch your boat.
