Hysbysfa is a delightful stone-built detached cottage set in an idyllic and secluded location of approximately ½ an acre in Bala, Snowdonia. Newly restored and completely refurbished, Hysbysfa has been tastefully extended to offer spacious and blissful retreat of style. There is a small stream running through the garden, which adds to the charm of this most peaceful setting (-toddlers beware-). Within walking distance of Bala Golf Club, the Lake Foreshore, Leisure Centre and Town.

Entrance to spacious sitting/dining room with electric radiant fire. Large dining table for up to 8. Books, maps and games. Rear hallway leading to kitchen and downstairs shower/utility room with washer/dryer. Stable door to rear garden. Open-tread stairs from sitting room to first floor. Bathroom. Master bedroom with sleigh bed, two further twin bedded rooms, (in each twin room, the second bed is a hideaway under-bed, which forms either a 6’ queen-sized bed or 2 singles).

Oil-fired central heating, fuel charged weekly. Satellite TV in 2 rooms, DVD player. No smoking in the bedrooms please. 1 small dog welcome – special rules apply. Minimum stay 3 nights.

Additional Information
The property features central heating, electric induction hob, fan assisted oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a steam iron & ironing board, a dishwasher, a cafetiere, 2 TV’s, a DVD, a video and a radio/cassette/CD player. Full bed linen is inclusive, though not cot linen. Tea towels are provided. Personal towels are provided for overseas guests only, or can be hired if required. Fuel is supplied by weekly rate. The upstairs bathroom consists of bath tub, hand basin and WC. The downstairs utility/cloakroom has a WC, a Belfast sink with slate work top, and a tiled step-in shower. A travel cot, high chair, safety gate, socket covers and fireguard are provided.

For your convenience, a power-washer and storage for cycles is available. Cycle hire available in Bala. A barbecue and garden furniture are provided and there is a small lockable barn in the garden for safe storage of bikes etc.

At Cyffdy, an elegant function room - The Retreat - is available for hire for group usage by prior booking. Further details available on request or just click here. And for younger guests, in the Cyffdy grounds there is a large paddock with resident goat and sheep, and sledges are available for winter holidays. Also at Cyffdy, the Timber Trail Play Area, constructed to ROSPA standards, provides endless hours of fun, and the Barn offers shelter for wet weather play.

Freshly made beds, pre-heated cottage and a Welcome Tray of tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival. Parking for several cars/boats per property. Groups welcome, but sorry, no stag or hen parties.
