Beudy Brics - Cyffdy Farm Cottages

Beudy Brics is a detached converted cow-barn built of slate, stone and brick in Bala, Snowdonia. Situated at the highest point of Cyffdy, with stunning views across the paddock to Bala Lake, this delightful cottage is a favourite with romantics, as it is extremely secluded and very peaceful. Newly refurbished interior throughout. Surrounded by its own private gardens to front and rear, and approached by a path of 5 steps from its driveway and car parking. Gravelled, floodlit front garden area with walled flower beds, rockery and barbecue. Rear paved garden with views of the Arenig mountain. Beudy Brics is frequently visited by badgers and foxes, a real inspiration for lovers of wildlife.

Gas-fired central heating. Fuel charged weekly. No smoking in the bedrooms please. Sorry, no pets. Minimum stay 3 nights.

Ground floor: Entrance to split-level dining kitchen, sitting room with Villager stove on slate hearth. Downstairs bathroom. Stairs to first floor to master bedroom with double canopied bed and twin-bedded room.

Additional Information

The property features central heating, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher, 2 TV’s, a DVD player, a video and a radio/cassette/CD player. Full bed linen is inclusive, though not cot linen. Tea towels are provided. Personal towels are provided for overseas guests only, or can be hired if required. Fuel is supplied by weekly rate. There is an over-bath hand-held mixer shower and a shaver point. A travel cot, high chair, safety gate, socket covers and fireguard are provided.

For your convenience, a power-washer and storage for cycles is available. Cycle hire available in Bala. A barbecue and garden furniture is provided and there is a Barn for barbecues if the weather is not co-operative.

For younger guests, in the Cyffdy grounds there is a large paddock with resident goat and sheep, and sledges are available for winter holidays. The Timber Trail Play Area, constructed to ROSPA standards, provides endless hours of fun, and the Barn offers shelter for wet weather play.

Freshly made beds, pre-heated cottage and a Welcome Tray of tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival. Parking for several cars/boats per property. Groups welcome, but sorry, no stag or hen parties.

* There are a total of four delightful detached 5 Star cottages on the farm that can be booked together for family groups of up to 20.

* An elegant function room - The Retreat - is available for hire for group usage by prior booking.
