Cefn Coch (Red Back) Holiday Cottage is the perfect place to spend a stress free holiday in Wales. Originally a farm cottage, it partially dates back to the 17 th century and offers idyllic views over unspoilt countryside surrounded by a spectacular coastline and offering some magnificent sunsets to the rear, hence Red Back.
Porth Dafarch Blue Flag Beach is just 5 minutes walk away and Trearddur Bay Beach less than 2 miles. Anglesey’s famous Southstack Lighthouse and RSPB Nature Reserve are just a little over 2 miles away. Cefn Coch really is special, offering a place to simply relax in comfort or take onboard the many activities the wonderful Island of Anglesey has to offer visitors to the area.
Accommodation
Cefn Coch holiday cottage offers quaint, comfortable and clean accommodation. The ground floor has a recently refurbished bathroom with over bath shower, designed to be friendly to the less able. A modern fitted kitchen with integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and dining area for 6 people, with patio doors leading onto the garden and terrace which has table and chairs, ideal for those who enjoy dining outdoors.
The lounge has comfortable seating, TV, DVD and open fire with free broadband internet access. A utility room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. A bedroom with twin beds. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms (double, twin) a second bathroom with electric over bath shower and panoramic views of open countryside and the spectacular rocky coastline. Oil fired central heating offers comfort in all seasons.
Outdoors an interesting building with character stone built walls, grassed areas, gardens and ample private parking. The front enclosed garden provides a safe and secure environment for children to play. Cefn Coch is surrounded by open farm land which is let by the owners to those who keep horses, sheep and cattle and country codes should be observed by all guests.
Anglesey, and particularly Holy Island has an abundance of outdoor activities which combined with the clean fresh sea air are of great benefit to both young and the not so young. Climbing, diving, fishing, golf 9 + 18 hole, horse riding, exploring rock pools, sailing, sea canoeing, Southstack RSPB Centre, walking and water sports are within minutes of Cefn Coch. Anglesey has 125 miles of coastline, remote unspoilt beaches, steeped in history and culture with wonderful wildlife. Tranquillity is a word often used to describe Anglesey.
