Llandudno , a lovely Victorian town is Wales' largest seaside resort. With a great choice of attractions and a fun packed calendar of exciting events, Llandudno is a brilliant place to visit at any time of year. The resort has two stunning beaches - the North Shore (which has even won awards) and the quieter West Shore. The town also has some fab shops, which are great for a days break away from the beach, and for the evening, simply pick from one of the fantastic restaurants.

Llandudno is also famed for its amazing 300 meter dry ski slope , where the Artificial Ski Championships are held each year. The 'Great Orme Mine ' is definitely worth a visit - explore the 3,500 year old tunnels, learn about the fascinating people that created them and watch archaeologists at work. Britain's only cable hauled tramway can also be visited - jump on the Great Orme Tramway and travel to the summit of the Great Orme in the original Victorian carriages. The area also has a huge range of accommodation - so finding somewhere to stay is easy. Colwyn Bay is situated between Llandudno and Rhyl and is a slightly quieter, more peaceful destination. The bay has some lovely sandy beaches and great opportunities to try your hand at a wide variety of different watersports. A popular cycle track winds its way along the coast, and there are some lovely walks to be enjoyed whilst taking in the stunning views.
