The coast's fine beaches, cliffs, harbours, and villages makes the area truely special and a brilliant choice for a holiday. The area is dotted with great self catered cottages which are the perfect solution for couples, families and groups of friends looking for a comfy, quiet and unique place to stay. The town of Aberystwyth stands on the shores of Cardigan Bay and is one of Wales favourite seaside towns, with the added loveliness of unspoilt landscapes, mountains and rivers. The town also contains some great visitor attractions such as Ceredigion Museum, the Aberystwyth Arts Centre and the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway. Aberaeron also sits on the Cardigan Bay coast. The town has a long history as a busy ship-building port, but today it thrives on tourism and fishing. Aberaeron manages to maintain its Georgian charm with its bright town houses and it has two lovely beaches, a sailing centre and a variety of walks close by. The town also plays host to attractions such as the Aberaeron Sea Aquarium, the Honey Bee Exhibition and the Aberaeron craft centre - all well worth a visit.
